While mainsteam rap music has a slew of half assed rappers spitting simplistic lyrics over synthetic computerized instrumentals, the Underground hasn't forgotten it's roots, keeping the art of crate digging and sample flipping alive. One of the latest emcees to rock over a classic sample is Ike Ellis. Listen to his lead single "Loving You" wich is featured on his forthcoming album Cornbread (due to be released this June) that samples Luther Ingram's "If Lovin' You Is Wrong". The song has Ike Ellis spitting over a spead up version of the original vocals from the song on the hook as well as the instruments from the sample chopped up for the verses.
